Runway Inspired Wedding Hair

Emma contacted me last year from Albury NSW and explained she was to be married in Adelaide in 2010. "I am coming to Adelaide a few times before the wedding and I would like to meet up to discuss my wedding hair ideas."

Emma had trialed a style with her hairdresser in Albury and as the night progressed she decided to test out her own creative skills in hairstyling and unpinned the bottom half of the style. Her dream hairstyle was born!  Now, how to adorn it?  Emma saw a hairstyle on the runway and was inspired to re-create the seed bead strands that were intertwined within the style. On her wedding day we added the seed beads she had made into her hair and enhanced the style by dotting pearls throughout.

Her creative talents didn't stop there.  Only months before the wedding she took up sewing classes and for her first project she decided to make a wedding dress. On the morning of the wedding I arrived and started with the bridesmaid's hair so that she could complete the finishing touches on her dress.  The dress was stunning - it's bodice, detailed with beading and lace, was all hand sewn by Emma.

Emma and Hugh were married at Bird in Hand Winery in the Adelaide Hills. Everyone added their touch of magic to Emma and Hugh's special day.  Friends made paper flowers for wedding decorations and Hugh's mum made their wedding cake.

The celebration of Emma and Hugh was expertly captured by Karalee from Angelsmith Photography and the warmth and emotion in her photos captures the beauty of the bride, groom and family perfectly.
